I WAS THINKIN If you Know Your Strengths then you may be better at keeping your weaknesses from showing.
Dmama has some serious superpowers. She is strong and determined. Once she has decided on a course, she doesn't veer. If anyone threatens a loved-one; she becomes vicious as a badger.
Determination and focus must be dmama's superpower! Buth, then again . . .

Christmas This Year
Wow....XMAS 2007..... As usual, it wasn't quite what I expected it to be. But that's often a good thing! Spent the day with some of my absolutely most favorite people! My husband and two girls. We had a fun start to the day with the 6 am wake up call by the girls (OK, so the dog woke me up before the girls did...), coffee in the maker, pretty girls ready to open presents, and a sweet husband to enjoy it all.
So, my husband has taught us to make hand-made gift bows. They're actually kind of fun to make because you can decide how full, big or little you want the bows and you can combine the colors. Kind of neat and a very old-fashioned touch on presents.
Another husband thing--hiding the names on the presents. This slows the whole present opening process down. At first, I found it really really annoying. But this year I really appreciated it, especially the fun of our "chief elf" finding the letters which coded the names and then presenting the gifts.
We had a really nice morning and afternoon hanging out at home and chilling. Then off to my sis's for Christmas dinner. Yum! Then back home for an early evening.
Back to work and reality today! But thank you, my family, for a beautiful Christmas this year.
